Bulgogi


This is a Korean dish that we absolutely are crazy about! To perfect this is an absolute gift. It’s addicting and satisfying. Enjoy!


Prepare 


2 lbs flank steak (I used a crossrib roast)

Thinly slice meat aprox 1/4” (freeze beforehand for aprox 30 for easier slicing)


Marinade 


1/4 c soya sauce

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp rice vinegar

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp minced ginger

6 cloves minced garlic

1/2 tsp hot pepper flakes

1/2 minced pear (peach works too!)


Mix with meat and place in ziplock bag. Let marinate (in fridge) for a minimum of 2 hrs or longer


Cook


Fry in a pan (cast iron is perfect for this) in small batches for a couple of minutes each side.


Serve


Sprinkle green onions on top. Wrap in a lettuce leaf (romaine type lettuce) with Kimchee (opt) and rice on the side.
