I am a retired school secretary and really loving the quietness of no phones ringing and no interruptions in my daily life. While I really enjoyed working it was very hectic.

My passion is to learn anything and everything I can! From cooking to strawbale gardening to photography to building a fence. I even posted my first Youtube video and I have a couple of blogs on the go. Nothing big but it is my way of keeping you in touch with our life.

My DH and I have been homestaying International students for the past several years (loving it) and many have asked for my recipes. With their help I have tweeked them to near perfection! All the photos here are taken by me.

So this is my gift to them (with no google translate), to my friends and family.
