Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

3 c. Milk/whip cream

1 cup butter

6 tbsp coconut palm sugar

1 tsp salt

1/2 c. lukewarm water


4 ½ tsp instant yeast

2 eggs

9 c. all purpose flour

¼ c maple syrup


1 c. butter softened

1 1/4 c. coconut palm sugar & brown sugar

2 tbsp cinnamon


Preparation


Scald milk. Stir in butter, sugar, water & salt. Cool to lukewarm.


In a large mixing bowl, combine lukewarm milk mixture & eggs.


Add 4-5 c of the flour, yeast & beat well for 5 min. gradually adding enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough..


...then...


Turn out on lightly floured surface

Let rest 10 min.

Divide dough in half.

Roll out each piece of dough to aprox 9x18 inch rectangle.

Brush on butter and Sprinkle on cinnamon & sugar.

Roll dough up like a jelly roll, starting from the long side.Cut into 1-2 in slices.

Brush bottom of pan with butter and maple syrup.  

Place slices in pan and cover with damp cloth.

Let rise in pan until double in size aprox 45-60 min

Bake 350 degrees for 35-45 min
